Services Provided
The Cincinnati Perinatal Outreach Project (CPOP) at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center provides the following services in Perinatal Region One:
- Education
The CPOP sponsors perinatal outreach educational activities related to preconception, prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, neonatal care and social support. Morbidity and mortality hospital-based conferences are provided in collaboration with affiliate hospitals. - AAP/AHA Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
The CPOP provides and improves access to the AAP/AHA Neonatal Resuscitation Program for all regional perinatal healthcare providers. - Quality Improvement
The CPOP involves utilization of the Regional Perinatal Database to assess infant mortality and morbidity. - Communication Center
The CPOP supports regional perinatal specialty groups to facilitate communication among directors and healthcare providers of perinatal care.
