Patient Referral Information for Physicians
Physicians can make a referral to the Nutrition and Intestinal Care Center at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center if they feel a child could benefit from comprehensive care for intestinal disorders or disease.

Physician Priority Link
The Cincinnati Children's Physician Priority Link can provide an immediate response to physicians' questions about the Nutrition and Intestinal Care Center and the status of patients referred to the Nutrition and Intestinal Care Center. The Physician Priority Link is available to physicians 24 hours daily, seven days a week, at 1-888-636-7997.
Calling Physician Priority Link can:
- Connect physicians with the specialist on-call for consultation
- Give physicians a brief outline of the referral process
- Tell physicians who to contact to refer a patient with a specific intestinal disorder or condition
- Provide doctors with lab and test results for patients you have already referred
- Link physicians to resources for patient follow-up care
- Direct physicians to special services
- Answer other questions
