Training and Education
The Division of Nutrition Therapy at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is a leader in the training and educating of aspiring dietitians as well as other health care professionals. Each year dietitians in the division provide observation and learning opportunities for high school and college students to inform and educate them about the variety of roles a dietitian can have in the health care field.
Nutrition Therapy also provides training for Dietetic Internship programs. Each intern spends two weeks at Cincinnati Children's learning the parameters of pediatric nutrition therapy. In recent years dietitians in Nutrition Therapy have also worked with doctors completing a Pediatric Fellowship in Gastroenterology who are interested in advanced nutrition training.
