This is slide 6 out of 9.

Dilation drops will be administered to your child by the Ophthalmology technician or nurse. The drops will cause the pupil to enlarge (dilate) so the doctor can perform a comprehensive eye exam. Your child will wait approximately 40 minutes for the dilation process to complete. (The pupils will be large and vision will be blurry.) During the wait time, your child will return to the Waiting Room where he / she can stay entertained with the various toys and activities available.
