The mission of the Division of Orthopaedic Surgery is to enhance the quality of musculoskeletal health care locally, nationally and internationally.

Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center was one of the first centers in the country to perform the internationally known DeBastiani limb-lengthening procedure. The faculty have established an international reputation in this area.

Cincinnati Children's is uniquely focused on the development of endo-orthopaedics or the use of minimally incisional endoscopy for the treatment of adolescent spine and hip disorders. Faculty and staff are innovators and have received international recognition.

Other areas of minimally invasive surgery at Cincinnati Children's include knee, ankle, shoulder, elbow and wrist.
