Throughout the year the Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy Division at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center hosts a variety of continuing education events. - Topic: Skill Building for Pediatric Occupational Therapists and Physical Therapists: Part Two

Cost: $295.00 (before February 28, 2008); $340 (after February 28, 2008)
Description: This conference is designed for occupational therapists, occupational therapy assistants, physical therapists, and physical therapy assistants. The format will include lectures, group discussions and demonstrations and will provide the opportunity to integrate practice and theoretical information. Topics include family centered care and the grieving parent, dealing with the medically fragile child, aquatic therapy, an update on wheelchair, adaptive seating and assistive technology equipment, interactive metronome, pediatric rheumatology, brachial plexus injury, reintegration of the child/adolescent with spinal cord injury and evidence based care.
