Bio
Kathleen Baumhardt has been a member of the Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy (OT/PT) team at Cincinnati Children's since August of 1995. Prior to that time she worked in the NICU at a local Cincinnati hospital, at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago with adults and children with spinal cord injuries and burns and in the schools in a Chicago suburb.
Since coming to Cincinnati Children's Baumhardt has worked in a variety of areas including the inpatient team in the ICU and Hematology/Oncology units, as a member of the interdisciplinary Limb Reconstruction Clinic team working with prosthetics and treating outpatients in the Harrison satellite. Currently she is generalist treating infants and children with a variety of diagnoses at the outpatient satellite in Fairfield.
Baumhardt's clinical expertise areas include working with infants with prematurity and developmental difficulties, craniosacral therapy, neurodevelopmental treatment, oral motor therapy, splinting, brachial plexus injuries and sensory integration.
