Abby has worked as an Occupational Therapist at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center for nearly two years. In the beginning, Abby was thankful for the guidance of others around her. “I was surrounded by people with a wealth of knowledge and experience. I could talk to people who had been here for decades and also to people who had been here just a few years,” she said. “That’s a very nice dynamic to have at a clinic.”
She also appreciates Cincinnati Children’s commitment to its employees. “I was told in my interview that they would work with me as my life’s pursuits changed. Cincinnati Children’s is a place where you can really establish yourself and explore many special interests.”
Besides working with kids, one of Abby’s favorite parts of her job is working alongside the other therapists, who have grown to become her friends. “I’m very comfortable with the people I work with,” she said. “It makes me enjoy being here.”
