Stacey, Physical Therapist
Stacey has worked at the main campus of Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center for the past 4 years and is a developmental specialist. When asked about her job at the medical center, Stacey said, "I love it! My favorite things are the kids and having the opportunity every day to see how resilient they are. Their resiliency helps to put things into perspective both at work and 'in the real world' and always gives me hope. I also love my team members in all the different places I hang my hat. They are incredible role models and teachers, not to mention, friends. Lastly, I love the unspoken motto in our department, 'If you can dream it, it can happen.' Seeing dreams of families and team members unfold with support from each other, our supervisors, and our leadership team is very fulfilling."
Stacey says that she is incredibly excited about the new Lokomat at Cincinnati Children's. "The possibility of improving a child's quality of life is the most thrilling factor of this new gait training device. I am always excited to learn and collaborate, and this intervention relies on teamwork and discovery given that there is not much information available yet on the pediatric Locomat. I'm hoping we change that. Being able to participate on the cutting edge of pediatric medicine and therapy services is the chance of a lifetime."
