Bio

Susmita Kashikar-Zuck, PhD, specializes in behavioral pain management with children. She is the psychologist for the multidisciplinary pain management program at Cincinnati Children's. Her research interests are in the psychological aspects of pediatric chronic pain including adjustment and coping of children and their families. She is specifically interested in evaluating the efficacy of cognitive behavior therapy for pain conditions such as juvenile fibromyalgia.

Dr. Kashikar-Zuck has experience working with a variety of different ethnic groups and age groups and is sensitive to individual and group differences in coping with medical illness.
