The Molecular Pathology (PCR) Laboratory is part of the Division of Pathology at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.
The Molecular Pathology (PCR) Laboratory has the capability and expertise to perform an impressive range of testing in the areas of Infectious Diseases and Cancer Diagnostics. The lab utilizes state-of-the-art equipment, such as LightCycler (Roche) real-time PCR and ABI 7500 real-time PCR system to provide rapid turnaround time and quantitative results on viral loads.
The Molecular Pathology Laboratory performs molecular testing on a variety of sample types over a wide range of diseases and complements the laboratory services at Cincinnati Children's.
