Overview
Health Connection is an after-hours health care advice service Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center offers area pediatricians. The line is staffed by experienced registered nurses who discuss symptoms and concerns with parents. The nurse may recommend home treatment, an office visit, or immediate care in an emergency department or urgent care center. The nurse then faxes information to the child's pediatrician about the child's illness and advice that was given.
