Child Health Administrative Services (CHAS) is focused on delivering management and clinical solutions to independent physicians that will enhance their ability to manage time, enhance the efficiency, profitability and atmosphere of their practice so providers can ultimately provide better care for the patients and families they serve.
CHAS is dedicated to increasing the success of our partners in health care by providing local training, implementation and support of fully-integrated Enterprise Practice Management (EPM), Electronic Medical Records (EMR) solutions and office services for independent physician practices.
CHAS works directly with physicians and practice managers to design integrated management, billing and clinical solutions that create efficiencies for staff so they have more time to address patient needs. Though our name implies a focus on pediatric practices, CHAS provides services to all primary care and specialty physicians.

Solution Partners
Tri State Child Health Services, Inc. (Physician-Hospital Organization) is a not-for-profit, taxable corporation joint venture that was incorporated in 1995 and became operational in 1996.
It comprises Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center and the Convalescent Hospital for Children, Ohio Valley Primary Care Associates (an independent practice association), contracted and employed specialist physicians and community-based specialist physicians. As such, it provides a vehicle for collaboration between community physicians, hospital-based physicians and Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.
The PHO's purpose is to represent the above constituencies with regard to contracting with area payers, as well as to pursue initiatives which improve the quality of pediatric healthcare. The PHO has a number of committees which oversee contracting, credentialing and performance improvement activities.
Enterprise Practice Management (EPM) and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems by NextGen™
At the core of our services are the fully-integrated products by NextGen® Healthcare Information Systems. These systems improve revenue and cash flow by minimizing billing errors, facilitating collections and expediting reimbursement processing.
Certified by CCHIT for both ambulatory care as well as the special designations for Child Health and Cardiovascular Medicine, the EHR, v. 5.5.27 by NextGen® is fully integrated with the EPM by NextGen® enabling better communication, fewer lost charges and more efficient workflow.
HealthBridge is a not-for-profit health information exchange serving Greater Cincinnati and surrounding areas. Founded in 1997, HealthBridge is one of the nation's largest, most advanced and most financially successful community health information exchanges.
CHAS has a long-established, reciprocal relationship with HealthBridge. As such, CHAS EHR clients receive the added benefit of a robust interface to HealthBridge that is a part of our EHR product offering. Most major labs and hospitals feed results through HealthBridge creating a convenient, efficient alternate to paper faxes in your office.
