Locked Doors

The purpose of the inpatient psychiatric unit at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is to stabilize children in crisis. The doors to the unit are locked and all doors within the unit can be locked to ensure patient safety. The focus is on creating and maintaining an environment which promotes stabilization of the the illness while meeting your child's developmental needs.
