Luggage

Staff will search your child's luggage to make sure there are no items that could cause injury. Removable luggage straps will either be given to the parent at that time or kept until discharge. Other common items that are not permitted include drawstrings on pj pants or hoodies, belts and plastic bags.
Your child will be searched and you are welcome to be present. If you are unable to be present, your child's well-being is ensured by the presence of two staff members of the same gender.
