Medical Programs
The Division of Psychiatry at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center offers assessment, diagnosis and inpatient and outpatient treatment of behavioral, emotional and developmental disorders in children and adolescents.
A variety of services are offered by the Division of Psychiatry:
- Adolescent Medical Psychiatry Service
48 inpatient beds and nine partial hospital positions - Child Psychiatry Unit
19 inpatient beds - Outpatient Clinics
Staffed by psychiatrists, social workers and trainees. - Extended Hospitalization Services
A non-traditional residential treatment program at the College Hill Campus of Cincinnati Children's
24 residential beds - Mood Disorders Clinic
Specializing in assessment and treatment of mood disorders in children and adolescents. - Psychopharmacology Clinic
Assessment and management of children who may require medication as part of their treatment. - Psychotherapy Clinic
Outpatient treatment of children and adolescents whose management includes psychotherapy. - Psychiatric Consultation Service
- Psychiatric Intake Response Center for face-to-face evaluation in Emergency Department and phone referral service
- Suicide Prevention Program
