Pulmonary Medicine

Overview

The Pulmonary Medicine Division of Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center offers consultation, treatment, and diagnostic testing for children with pediatric pulmonary diseases.

Consultation, treatment, and diagnostic testing for all pediatric pulmonary disease is available, including:

  • Cystic fibrosis
  • Congenital malformations of the lung
  • Recurrent pneumonia
  • Persistent coughing
  • Pulmonary hemosiderosis
  • Immotile cilia syndrome
  • Asthma

Close collaboration with Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center divisions of Infectious Diseases, GastroenterologyPediatric Surgery and Otolaryngology ensures the provision of comprehensive clinical care to patients and their families.

The Pulmonary Medicine Division is also a component of the Aerodigestive and Sleep Center, another integrated program at the hospital that provides care to children with complex airway, pulmonary, sleep and upper digestive tract disorders.
