To be eligible for the Healthcare Training Program, part of Project SEARCH at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, participants must meet the following criteria:
- Is at least 18 years old
- Desires work in a healthcare setting
- Has high school diploma or G.E.D.
- Scores at 9th grade level in reading and 7th grade level in math on Test of Adult Basic Education
- Has appropriate social, grooming and hygiene skills
- Able to pass drug screen, physical and felony check
- Has updated immunizations
Tuition Assistance
To qualify for tuition assistance students must meet one of the following criteria:
- Reside in an Empowerment Zone neighborhood
- Referred by Rehabilitation Services Commission
- Qualified for Workforce Investment Act funds
