Project SEARCH offers educational opportunities for professionals in supported employment or special education with an interest in understanding and implementing the innovative methodologies of Project SEARCH. The Project SEARCH model features non-traditional jobs for people with disabilities and collaboration among:

  • Employers
  • Service agencies
  • Education providers

We have an annual schedule of In-Depth Tours and Workshops and free Half-Day Tours to disseminate the framework necessary to replicate our employment and education programs.

Half-Day Tours

This introduction to Project SEARCH consists of a brief program overview and tour of Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center job sites. You will also have the opportunity to have lunch and interact with program participants. There is a maximum of 12 participants and the tour is offered for a $25 fee.

In-Depth Conferences

This two-day visit will involve in-depth tours of:

  • Cincinnati Children's
  • 5/3 Bank
  • Xavier University

An overview of the Project Search program will also be part of the visit. You will see first hand how the Project Search model has been implemented in health care organizations of varying size as well as in industry. You will have the ability to interact with staff and program participants at each location. 

Registration is limited to 12 participants and registration is required. The cost for the in-depth two-day conference is $150 per participant.
