Potential participants for the High School Transition Program must meet the following criteria:
- 18-22 years old
- In last year of high school eligibility
- Desire to work in the community
- Be willing to access independent transportation options
- Meet all academic requirements for graduation (with deferred graduation)
- Have basic communication skills
- Have appropriate social, grooming and hygiene skills
- Have independent toileting and feeding skills
- Be able to pass a drug screen and felony check
- Have updated immunizations
- Have achieved second or third grade reading and math levels
