Bicycle Rodeos
Bicycle Rodeos provide children and parents information on bicycle safety by allowing them to participate within various stations of bicycle education. They teach children and parents to be role models not only for themselves, but also for friends and family members.
The following stations will be at the rodeos for children and their families to visit:
- Bicycle Helmet Fittings: Children will be able to bring their helmets to the event and get them checked for proper placement.
- Rules of the Road: Children will be able to work with parents in learning the educations piece of what is right and what is wrong on the road.
- Bicycle Checks: Children will have the opportunity to bring their bikes to the event to get them checked for proper tire pressure, broken spokes, lubed chains, etc.
- Final Bicycle Course: Children will have the opportunity to visit the bicycle course when finished with each of the stations to test their skills.
