Research
The Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging is actively involved in research investigating new applications of imaging in pediatrics, imaging evaluation of urinary tract infection, use of magnetic resonance imaging and spectroscopy in pediatrics, pediatric vascular interventional techniques, and tumor-specific radiopharmaceuticals.
Imaging Research Center
The Imaging Research Center is partially funded through external grants, the Location R (Research Foundation Building).
Hemangioma and Vascular Malformation Center
The department also works with the Hemangioma and Vascular Malformation Center at Cincinnati Children's, an interdisciplinary group of pediatric specialists who collaborate in the evaluation, management and emotional support of patients with hemangiomas and vascular malformations.
