Bio
Dr. Nielsen received his B.S. degree in 1994 form the University of Utah and his medical degree in 1997 from Creighton University School of Medicine, Omaha, Nebraska. He completed an internship in internal medicine at Creighton's Saint Joseph Hospital in 1998 and a residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of Cincinnati in 2002. After a year of pediatric radiology fellowship at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, he joined the faculty in 2003 with an emphasis on body imaging. He became the Division Chief of Abdominal CT Imaging in 2004 and the Section Chief of Body CT Imaging in 2006.
