Bio
Lane Donnelly, MD, has been the Radiologist in Chief at Cincinnati Chidlren's Hospital Medical Center since August 2002. He obtained his undergraduate degree at the Ohio State University, his medical degree at the University of Cincinnati and completed a residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of Cincinnati. He completed a fellowship in pediatric radiology at Cincinnati Children's. He then served on the radiology staff at Cincinnati Children's, joined the staff at Duke University and returned to Cincinnati Children's in 1999.
Under Dr. Donnelly's guidance, the department is recognized as a leader in research and education in pediatric imaging. The Department of Radiology and performs one of the higher volumes of imaging procedures, has a high level of funding from the NIH and has one of the largest pediatric radiology fellowship programs in the United States.
Donnelly is also a frequent contributor to the American Journal of Roentgenology, Radiology, and Pediatric Radiology, author of three books, numerous book chapters and more than 170 articles in professional journals. Dr. Donnelly's areas of research interests includes: MRI in obstructive sleep apnea, pediatric chest and abdominal imaging, CT dose reduction and pediatric radiology health care delivery improvement.
