Why Choose Us?

A Program of Excellence

Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is nationally recognized as a leader in pediatric health care. We have a reputation for excellence in patient care, research and medical education.

Our inpatient pediatric rehabilitation unit in the Division of Pediatric Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is accredited by The Joint Commission. We are also accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) for comprehensive integrated inpatient rehabilitation and family-centered rehabilitation programs.

Our program is one of only three accredited pediatric rehabilitation programs in Ohio, and one of only four accredited programs in the Tristate area. This achievement reflects our dedication and commitment to meeting national rehabilitation standards. Our goal is to provide the highest quality care for your child and family.

Focusing on Your Child and Family

Creating a caring and compassionate atmosphere, we use a family-centered approach that encourages you and your child to be directly involved in your child's care. Our program is designed to respect your unique values, needs and cultural differences. We recognize that you and your child are integral members of the health care team, and we try to ensure your active participation.

Interdisciplinary Team

Our interdisciplinary team collaborates with you and your child to identify and address medical, behavioral, educational and social needs. Working together, our goal is to minimize the impact of your child's disability or handicap--and to get the most out of your child's participation in everyday activities.
