Inpatient Pediatric Rehabilitation Program
At Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, the Inpatient Pediatric Rehabilitation Program is committed to the development of children with disabilities to the fullest potential possible while providing guidance and support to their families.
A Cooperative, Team Approach
Your child's treatment is coordinated by our rehabilitation team. A pediatric physiatrist, a physician specializing in pediatric rehabilitation medicine, will be your child's team leader. With your input, the team coordinates a wide range of medical, therapeutic and supportive services. This cooperative effort results in a specially designed treatment program for your child and family.
Accredited Rehabilitation Unit
The pediatric rehabilitation unit at Cincinnati Children's is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). The unit is designed to involve families in the rehabilitation process as well as to provide follow-up instruction to community care givers.
