About Us
The Division of Respiratory Care at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center operates on a decentralized concept. We furnish nine different areas of the hospital with 24-hour coverage and offer eight- and 12-hour staffing options for our employees.
In our working model, therapists are assigned to a specific unit; transfers are available after six months of employment. We have found that this has increased job performance, satisfaction and responsibility.
We pride ourselves on our practice. We encourage interaction with medical staff for the betterment of the patient. At Cincinnati Children's, we are looking for dynamic individuals who are prepared to take an active role in all aspects of the patient's care. From the emergency room to the intensive care units to the floor, our therapists are needed and encouraged to participate in all phases of the patients' care and education.
