Introduction and General Information

The Rheumatology Clinic at Cincinnati Children's provides diagnosis, education and care for children with various rheumatic diseases.

The Rheumatology Clinic at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center provides diagnosis, education, treatment and follow-up for children with various rheumatic diseases. Annual outpatient visits exceed 4,000 with approximately 300 in-patient admissions. Each year the staff of the Rheumatology center treats over 550 new patients. Patients of all different ages are seen, from infancy to young adults. The William S. Rowe Division of Rheumatology receives patient referral from physicians throughout the United States.

Murray Passo, MD, is the Director of the Rheumatology Clinic.
In November, 2004, the Rheumatology Clinic moved into a new Treatment Center. The state-of-the-art Treatment Center was designed in collaboration with families and health care providers.

Visits to the Rheumatology Clinic are available Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 am to 5 pm. Appointments can be made through the Cincinnati Children's Call Center or by contacting the department directly. The Physician Schedule for Outpatient Services is available online.
