* This meeting serves several purposes for the Rheumatology Clinic, including quality control and Pursuing Perfection projects, and identification of patients eligible for research studies.

** Lab meetings are scheduled by individual laboratories, and vary in frequency. Clinical fellows may attend lab meetings while they are trying to choose a research area, although clinical responsibilities take priority during the first year.  Other research seminars of interest include the Distinguished Immunologist Seminar Series (noon on Mondays), which alternates with the regular Immunobiology Seminars in the same time slot.

Optional Seminar Series

Several seminar series with relevance to the program are currently available throughout the campus. Speakers from outside and within the University of Cincinnati participate in approximately equal numbers.

  • Developmental Biology
  • Imaging Research
  • Immunobiology (including Distinguished Immunologist Seminar Series)
  • Immunohematology
  • Molecular Genetics
  • Clinical Epidemiology
  • Grant-writing

  • American College of Rheumatology
  • American Association of Immunologists and Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology
  • American Federation of Clinical Research
