Friends
- Advocacy
- The Friends formed in the early 1980's by the parents of a child with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis to help support the division. The group is composed of community volunteers, raising money and providing in-kind donations to benefit the Division of Rheumatology.
- Mission
- To support the William S. Rowe Division of Pediatric Rheumatology at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center by providing financial resources and advocacy that improves quality of life and medical treatment for patients with arthritis and their families.
- Board of Trustees
- The Board of Trustees is a volunteer group consisting of parents of children with arthritis, members from the Arthritis Foundation, Division of Rheumatology faculty and staff and individuals with an interest in arthritis.
- Funding
- The Friends rely on the generosity of individual contributions, corporate support and fundraising events to raise money.
