Providing Resources
The methodology core of the Multidisciplinary Clinical Research Center (MCRC) provides clinical investigators with a resource for obtaining conceptual, practical and technical assistance related to methodological and biostatistical issues of clinical investigation.
The methodology core provides researchers support in the following issues:
- Hypotheses and question formulation
- Protocol development
- Recruitment strategies
- Methods of data recording, retrieval, management and quality assurance
- Biostatistical analysis, interpretation and report generation
One of the chief goals of the methodology core is to provide assistance to projects within the MCRC itself and research performed by the MCRC Research Base. The methodology core continues to have an impact on pediatric rheumatology on a global level and serve as a national and international resource.
