National Center for School Crisis and Bereavement experts, based at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, support services to community agencies and schools.
Services provided by our experts include:
- Technical assistance related to crisis and loss to school systems, as well as agencies and organizations responding to the needs of children, families and schools
- Guidelines for:
- Responding to school crisis and trauma
- Handling loss and bereavement in school settings
- Helping families help their children after crisis and loss
- Preparing for anniversaries of a crisis and planning memorial and commemorative activities
