Bio
In 2000, Pamela Jenkins was hired to work as a clinical social worker in the Comprehensive Sickle Cell Center. Prior to her employment with Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, she worked as a therapist with St. Joseph's Orphanage. She worked with severe emotionally disturbed youth and provided counseling services.
Pamela also worked with Cancer Family Care as a Clinical Social Worker for almost seven years. She provided counseling services to those diagnosed with cancer and their families.
She also started the very first support group for African-American women with Breast Cancer in 1994. That group still exists today.
While working for Cancer Family Care, she attended Self Health Institute in Lebanon, Ohio and completed training to become a licensed massage therapist. She is licensed by the Ohio Medical Board and has been in private practice since 1998.
