Parent Orientation
The team of the Speech Pathology Department at Cincinnati Children's have developed a comprehensive information packet to help parents of new patients. The packet reviews and answers questions such as:
- What will the therapist do with my child?
- What can I do to help at home?
- How long will therapy take?
- What is the check-in procedure?
- What is the attendance policy?
We view parents as an integral part of the treatment team. You and your therapist need to work together to provide the best services here and at home. Your child is also an important part of the process.
