This newsletter is written in memory of Aaron Philip Doyle

Aaron Doyle was a remarkable, delightful, and charismatic 10-year old boy, fun and easy to get to know. He was always entertaining his speech therapist; who adored and loved him dearly. Aaron would amuse her by jumping out of closets to "scare" her, or telling a "knock-knock" joke. Aaron was a two-year attendee of Fluency Friday Plus. By Saturday of the weekend event, he knew everyone by name and told them stories of his family, school and Cub Scouts.

One of the most remarkable characteristics about Aaron was his bravery. He was never scared of his illness or when he had to go to the hospital--or even when he stuttered. He would explain to his mom, "That's okay if I stutter, sometimes people stutter."

Aaron worked diligently (with the help of his parents) on his speech targets at home. He worked on his speech targets during therapy as well and used them successfully. Most of all, Aaron was a wonderful son, brother, classmate, patient and friend who will be greatly missed.
