It is published by Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center's Division of Speech Pathology and is the first in a series of books by Mr. Knapp that will address the common language problems of children in early elementary school.
Stuttering Stan Takes a Stand is an illustrated book aimed a target audience of children ages 6-10, however younger children will enjoy having the story read to them. It has multiple illustrations by noted children's-book illustrator, Barbara L. Gibson.
This product is designed to be used by families, early and elementary childhood educators and speech-language pathologists to help ease the emotional burden of children who are teased and bullied because they stutter.
