Injury Screening
The Human Performance Laboratory at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center offers a pre-participation screening of athletes to identify those predisposed to knee injury who would benefit from a training program.
Our Dynamics Neuromuscular Analysis Training (DNA) is designed to enhance strength and neuromuscular stabilization of the knee joint. We are currently developing an injury-prevention screening to assist in determining which athletes have increased risk of knee injury.
The injury prevention screening test is part of a research study to test the effects on a variety of athletes. The knowledge gained by this study may have a major impact on how adolescent athletes are tested and trained prior to sports participation.
Sign up for Injury Screening
Injury screening is performed at the Human Performance Laboratory and is scheduled prior to participating in the DNA programs. The screening is free for athetes who are signed up for any of the DNA programs. Special screening sessions can also be arranged for teams of athletes wanting to participate in our research efforts.
