The team is uniquely prepared with both skills and equipment to meet the needs of the pediatric and neonatal patient during transport:
- We have more than 20 years' experience transporting children.
- Our unique dispatch center is staffed by transport RNs who are prepared to immediately mobilize the team and assist in coordinating your referral from beginning to end.
- The equipment we use is designed specifically for children, not adapted to them.
- Our child-friendly ambulances help ease the tension for kids, who can choose to watch a video, listen to music or rest in a soothing, child-oriented environment.
- We use specially configured turbo-jet and Lear jet aircraft.
- We practice family-centered care and encourage a parent to accompany his or her child during transport.
- The team is made up of transport nurses, respiratory therapists and emergency medical technicians who are trained extensively in the critical care environment.
- Our team stages an ambulance at Outpatient Mason to better serve our customers north of Cincinnati.
