Bio
Margot Daugherty, MSN, MEd, RN, joined the Trauma Department of Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center in June of 2005 as the Education Specialist.
Daugherty, prior to her present position was the Trauma Program Manager at Middletown Regional Hospital in Middletown, Ohio and previously worked at Bethesda North Hospital in the Paramedic Training Program and Emergency Department.
Daugherty also worked as a paramedic on the Mason-Deerfield Joint Fire District then on the City of Mason Fire Department.
Daugherty's responsibilities are to assess, design, implement and evaluate educational needs and programs, which improve trauma-based practice for nurses, physicians and other health care providers. In addition, she promotes nursing leadership and staff development through teaching, consulatation and scholarly endeavors.
Daugherty also assists in monitoring the PI system for Trauma Services, including outcomes and system / process issues.
