Welcome to the Division of Speech Pathology at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. As part of one of the premier pediatric hospitals in the country, we are proud to contribute to the hospital mission of providing excellence in patient care, research and teaching.
The Division of Speech Pathology at Cincinnati Children's has the largest and one of the best pediatric speech pathology programs in the nation. We are considered the leader in pediatric speech pathology because we have highly trained specialists in all specialty areas of the field. As a result, each child is seen by a professional who is uniquely qualified to help that child in his or her specific areas of need.
It is our goal to provide excellence in all of the clinical services that we provide to our patients and their families. For each child, we begin our services with a comprehensive evaluation. A treatment plan is then developed which personalizes the care that is delivered. In each case, the speech pathologist works with both the child and the family to ensure the best outcomes and to help the child feel successful as soon as possible.
All of our efforts are directed toward making the experience in speech therapy beneficial for the family and enjoyable for the child. It is our focus on individualized, personalized care that demonstrates our commitment to the best outcomes for each child.
