Bio
Andrew Beck, RRT, is a clinical therapist with the Newborn/Pediatric Critical Care Transport Team at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.
Beck has worked as a clinical therapist since 1992. His transport experience stems from critical care and emergency medicine. Prior to joining the team, Beck worked as a respiratory therapist in the Emergency Department at Cincinnati Children's.
With a strong interest in education, Beck provides, participates and coordinates educational opportunities for staff nurses and therapists, respiratory and nursing students, and the community through outreach programs.
Beck is active locally with the Tri-State Alliance of Respiratory Care Professionals, as well as on the state level as the 2000 Junior Representative and 2001 Senior Representative of the Southern District for the Ohio Society of Respiratory Care and the Ohio Respiratory Care Board.
He also participates in multiple committees such as trauma resuscitation, transport team research and education committees, and as chair-elect for the respiratory care department's education council.
