Trena Goodwin, APRN, MSN, LPCC, an Adjunct Associate Professor in the University of Cincinnati Department of Psychiatry, Director of the Prevention and Education Division at the Central Clinic and the Chairperson of the Division of Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing for the Department of Psychiatry. Goodwin's specialty fields are School Mental Health Consultation and Disaster Mental Health.
In the mid-1980s, Goodwin was one of the founding members of the Cincinnati Red Cross Disaster Mental Health Disaster Team – one of the first such teams to incorporate nursing – and served as the Training Chairperson for both that team and the Disaster Preparedness Committee for the Department of Psychiatry.
Goodwin is an advisory board member for the National Center for School Crisis and Bereavement.
