Bio
Angela Kinstler, CTRS, has been a recreational therapist on the Children's Psychiatric Unit at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center since September 1998. She provides treatment services to improve functioning and independence, as well as reduce or eliminate the effects of illness or issues for clients at Cincinnati Children's.
Kinstler is a member of an intradisciplinary team, from which she administers various assessments. She develops and implements individualized treatment plans incorporating play and art therapy; plans and leads therapeutic groups; writes daily progress notes; develops discharge plans; provides leisure education, community resources and support for clients and parents.
Kinstler represent Recreational Therapy on unit committees and attends conferences and seminars hospital and nationwide related to profession and patients.
