Bio
Michelle Kiger, OTR/L, has been providing occupational therapy services to children and adults since 1996.
Prior to coming to Cincinnati Children's, Michelle provided pediatric occupational therapy services at duPont Hospital for Children in both their inpatient rehabilitation and outpatient services program's.
Michelle is a generalist, providing services to infants, children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of diagnoses and needs. Her clinical expertise is in the assessment and treatment of children with brain injuries, neurologic disorders, limb absence/loss, limb reconstruction, multiple trauma, and other traumatic injuries.
While at Cincinnati Children's, Michelle has been active in several interdisciplinary patient care teams which include Limb Reconstruction Clinic and the outpatient rehabilitation program. Currently, her primary caseload consists of outpatients who require high frequency multidisciplinary therapy needs.
In addition to providing patient care, Michelle serves as the Evidence Based Practice Project Manager and the Clinical Specialty Committee Coordinator for The Division of Occupational Therapy & Physical Therapy and The Division of Therapeutic Recreation.
