Keith Mandel, MD, completed pediatric residency training at the University of Texas-Southwestern Medical Center (i.e., Children's Medical Center of Dallas and Parkland Memorial Hospital), where he also served as pediatric chief resident and attending physician on the general pediatric inpatient service.

Subsequently, Dr. Mandel was a Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholar in Health Policy and Management at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.

Prior to joining Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, Dr. Mandel was a health care consultant to numerous academic medical centers.
