Bio
Dr. David Smith has been a Staff Psychologist at the Cincinnati Center for the Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center since December 1980.
At the Cincinnati Center for Developmental Disorders, Dr. Smith provides a combination of assessment services, training of advanced psychology students, treatment services, consultation, teaching, administration and research activities. He has served as the Training Director of the Pediatric Psychology residency from its inception in 1992. He has taught Introduction to Psychology and Ethics in Psychology at the University of Cincinnati from 1980 to the present.
Dr. Smith also currently serves as an elder at the College Hill Presbyterian Church.

PhD: Psychology, Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio, 1979.
Residency: Medical Psychology Resident in the Handicapped Child, University of Oregon Health Sciences Center, Child Development and Rehabilitation Center, 1979-1980.
Pre-doctoral training/internship: Nisonger Center, Columbus, Ohio, 1978-79.
Certifications: Ohio Psychology License, 1980 to present; Ohio Qualified Mental Retardation Professional, 1981 to present.
