After 8:30 PM
Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center offers the following tips and guidelines on being with your child at the hospital after 8:30 pm:
Overnight Stays
- Two parents, guardians and grandparents may stay overnight
- Overnight stays by siblings are not recommended (speak with your nurse for special occasions or circumsances)
Guest Services provides toilertries free of charge should you or your child forget something.
From 8:30 pm to 8:30 am, anyone authorized to stay overnight must sign in and wear an ID band.
Access to Patient Floors
From 8:30 pm to 5:45 am, access to patient floors is limited to authorized individuals.
Locked Doors
Entrances to most buildings are locked from 8:30 pm to 5:45 am. After 8:30 pm, use the main entrance to Location B.
