Safety Issues
Thank you for respecting these important safety considerations during your stay at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center:
- No cell phones -- they may interfere with electronic medical equipment. Please turn off your cell phone.
- No latex balloons -- you may bring Mylar balloons instead.
- No smoking -- please use designated smoking areas outside.
- No concealed weapons
The intensive care units may restrict flowers, food and drinks in your child's room.
Laptop computers, hair dryers and any other electrical appliance you bring to the hospital will have to be checked by Clinical Engineering. Please ask your child's nurse.
