Safety Issues
Thank you for respecting these important safety considerations during your stay at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center:
- No latex balloons; you may bring Mylar balloons instead
- No tabacco use
- No concealed weapons
- No open flames (except during services in the Chapel)
- No trespassing
The intensive care units may restrict cell phones, flowers, food and drinks in your child's room.
Laptop computers, hair dryers and any other electrical appliance you bring to the hospital will have to be checked by Clinical Engineering. Please ask your child's nurse.
If you are worried or concerned about any aspect of your child's care, please feel free to talk with your nurse. Your child's safety is our #1 concern!
