Special Needs Kids' Summer Camps

Summer Camps for Children Who Are Blind or Have Visual Impairment

Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center provides information on the following camps for children who are blind or have visual impairment:

  • Clovernook Center in North College Hill, Ohio.

    All camps are from 8:30 am to 3 pm. Financial assistance available.
    • Art day camp: June 16-20, 2008. Ages: 8-22.
    • Survivor theme day camp: June 23-27, 2008. Ages: 13-22.
    • Survivor theme day camp: July 7-11, 2008. Ages: 8-12.
    • Adventures in ADL's (Activities in Daily Living): July 14-18, 2008. Ages: 13-22
    • Technology day camp: July 28-August 1, 2008. Ages: 8-12.
  • Cost: $45 per week and $15 for transportation within a 10 mile radius of camp. Transportation $25 if outside 10 mile radius.
