Overview
The Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) Support Group at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center meets several times a year. This support group is supported by the Dermatology Division at Cincinnati Children's and is open to children and families of children with EB, as well as adults with EB.
This support group gives children and parents / adults the opportunity to meet others with EB, share concerns and successes and discuss new treatment information. Some meetings allow for mingling of families and social support while others have speakers.
The EB Support Group welcomes all to participate in our activities. Jean Whalen, RN, and Kim Hazelbaker, RN, nurses in the EB Center at Cincinnati Children's, facilitate the group. A parent liaison assists with the meetings.
